Sažetak

the article describes the scientific basis of the method of drip irrigation saving water relative to the method of conventional irrigation. In the drip irrigation method, water is given only to the root part of the plant, this is primarily due to the fact that it saves irrigation water up to 40-60% and allows to obtain a higher yield from the crops.
